Located in a business park off the I-5 and Garden Highway in Sacramento- Old School Smoke Express offers sandwiches, salads and specials featuring scratch-smoked meats and mushrooms Monday-Friday from 11am to 3pm. All meats are cured, brined, and smoked in-house while we feature local (Sac Baking Co) sliced sandwich bread and import the Hoagie Rolls from Philadephia. The small but strategic menu offers choices for 99% of all diets, whether voluntary or involuntary. This includes Vegan, Vegetarian, Dairy Free, Paleo, Gluten Free, Nut Free and Atkins/Low Carb. How We Got Started
Started in 2013 by Colby Cason, Old School Smoke functioned as a catering company for 5 years serving Northern California and featured clients like Sutter General Medical Center, the University of the Pacific, and UC Davis Medical Center. Colby accepted the Catering Director position at the Sheraton 4 Points Airport in 2018 and brought catering in-house until COVID closed the department in March 2020. Colby purchased the former Creekside Café in December 2020, and after months of renovation is proud to announce the opening in June 2021.
